"Ain't in it for My Health: A Film About Levon Helm" @ RAW

From their website:

Director Jacob Hatley's intimate documentary finds Mr. Helm at home in Woodstock, NY, in the midst of creating his first studio album in 25 years. Shot during the course of two-plus years, this highly anticipated film focuses in on the four-time Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member after his 2007 comeback album, Dirt Farmer, brought him back to the spotlight. (USA, 83 mins, In English)

The movie begins at 7:10pm - I'll be there a bit before 7:00pm and go in for seats on the hour. If people would rather do another night, since Tuesday is also the Real Board Games night, let me know. I was trying to avoid the holiday weekend since I know a lot of people have plans.

The movie was good but doesn't go into any issue in depth and didn't even feature "the Night They Drove Old Dixie Down", probably because Robbie Robertson gets writing credit. Still, it gives some more info on Levon and that's a gift.

Movie was too short in many ways, but ended like his life: abruptly.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
