My Sweet Pepper Land

Baran, a Kurdish independence war hero, is now sheriff in Erbil, the capital city. I saw this at the Palm Spring Film Festival. Really great film. Highly recommended.

The plot was flawed by being unrealistic from a human standpoint, inconsistent with a dash of trite. Taking a woman to bed impulsively and passionately and having thunder and lightning go off immediately happens often for ME, of course, but in a movie it's a kind of overstatement.

Something came up and I cannot attend. Super disappointed, but looking forward to another film!

Sorry. Got involved in something that took much longer than anticipated, won't make it. Bummer!

It has been ages since I've ventured into Hartford. Can someone suggest where there is (hopefully free), safe parking near the Athenaeum?
