Introduction
I love indie films, particularly documentaries that wake people up and make them THINK!!!! I am so sick and tired of the mainstream media telling us what tv shows and movies we SHOULD watch. So, naturally my movie tastes are more "acquired" :).
What 3 movies would you HAVE to have on a desert island?
You mean I have to pick?!?!? :) American Beauty - I love watching Lester Burnham wake up. Chocolat - I love Vianne's zest for life. Erin Brockovich - Screw P&E! Power to the People! The Corporation - Please, see it. Pay it Forward - do it.

Wow Juli is a primo organizer. Bright, smart and funny. Not only was she waiting in the movie lobby with a sign so it was easy to find her, but she really found a great room for after-movie discussion and meal. The food was great, the people were fun and I feel like I made 5 new friends! :)

Hi Scott. We regularly get around 10 people to Drinking Liberally Denver. The RSVPs for meetup are not at all accurate. I've been running this chapter for 6 years, with an email list of over 1000 people (no idea how many of those are still current email addresses) and facebook. -John
