Tonight PBS (Channel 6) the American Masters series is airing the first of a two part documentary about one of our greatest living film directors. Woody Allen - a Documentary is not just a list of his career accomplishments, but a character study from his childhood to his most recent film Midnight in Paris. No punches are pulled, as his TV work, directorial method and his controversial personal life are all examined.
Part One is on tonight, Part Two airs Monday, the 21st.
