Hello Indie Film Fan Members,

While reading the latest notice from Landmark Theaters, I saw a notice of a special upcoming film. Not for everyone, but you Baby Boomers know who you are. This is a limited screening (2 shows only) of The Beatles first U. S. Concert. Read on for the details.......

features the group's first-ever concert in America, performed at the Washington Coliseum in Washington, D.C. Filmed in 1964 expressly for the big screen, concert footage was "lost" and remained unseen in theaters for over 47 years. More than a concert film, this exclusive presentation tells the story of how The Beatles first came to the U.S., through original interviews, historical footage, unpublished photos and rare artifacts. The film screens for two nights only, on Thursday, May 17 at 7:30pm and Tuesday, May 22 at 7:30pm at the Mayan Theatre. Advance tickets now on sale!

This is NOT a group event, but I wanted those interested to have an advance chance at tickets.

I am planning a group movie for Saturday, May 5th, so expect a posting in the next few days.

See you at the movies,
