Announcing a new Meetup for Indie Film, Dinner, & Discussion Group!

What: Into Temptation

When: Friday, January 22,[masked]:00 PM

The Starz FilmCenter at the Tivoli
900 Auraria Pkwy
Denver, CO 80204

Films Fans -

Let's go see Into Temptation! We'll meet in the lobby of the theatre at 7pm, show starts at 7:15pm. If you're new to the group buy your ticket and look for me holding a Meetup sign. After the show we'll head somewhere for drinks and discussion.

3 Actors you know but aren't used to seeing in these type of roles - Jeremy Sisto (Det on Law & Order), Kristin Cheoweth (she's playing against type as a prostitute), and Brian Baumgaurtner (who you know as Kevin from the office).

John Buerlein (Jeremy Sisto) works the crossword while old women confess the sins of their husbands and the homeless sleep it off in quiet pews--just another day at St. Mary Magdalen?s Downtown Catholic Church where he is the overworked, underpaid pastor.
His shift is nearly over when a beautiful call girl enters, Linda (Kristin Chenoweth), to confess a sin she hasn?t committed yet:
?I?m going to kill myself. On my birthday. And I?m Aries, Father, so I don?t have a lot of time.?
Then she disappears and Fr. John sets out to find her.
Along the way he befriends an ex-prizefighter, a street-smart librarian, a renegade street-whore, an omniscient cab driver, and a moody pimp who quotes Robert Frost. Together this ad-hoc congregation sets out to save a life?and possibly redeem their own.

As a reminder I do as for $1 donation per person to help cover my Meetup Organizer fees.

See you at the movies!
