"Terms and Conditions May Apply" Documentary - Two Free Tickets!

This is looking like a big group!  Please be sure to buy a ticket in advance and arrive early at Sammy's to be sure there's a seat for you.

Director in person at this screening!

Admit it: you don’t really read the endless terms and conditions connected to every website you visit, phone call you make or app you download. But every day, billion-dollar corporations are learning more about your interests, your friends and family, your finances, and your secrets… and are not only selling the information to the highest bidder, but freely sharing it with the government. And you agreed to all of it.
With fascinating examples and so-unbelievable-they’re-almost-funny facts, filmmaker Cullen Hoback exposes what governments and corporations are legally taking from you every day - turning the future of both privacy and civil liberties uncertain. From whistle blowers and investigative journalists to zombie fan clubs and Egyptian dissidents, this disquieting exposé demonstrates how every one of us has incrementally opted-in to a real-time surveillance state, click by click- and what can be done about it.

“The scariest movie I’ve seen this year, a horror tale that would have been science fiction had it been made in the 1990s.” G. Allen Johnson, San Francisco Chronicle

“A riveting investigation on the death of privacy…a must see.” Ben Umstead, TwitchFilm

Very interesting (in a disturbing sort of way)! It's hard to keep one's head in the sand about how much personal information is being relayed every time we engage in any sort of online activity. This film should be required viewing for everyone (especially kids, who reallyh need to understand this) as a "term and condition" for opening a Facebook or Twitter account!

When I received this invitation, it seemed that an early RSVP guaranteed 2 free tickets. Now it appears there was a raffle. I'll see this film another time.

The raffle was specified in the instructions at the time the meetup was announced.
