Directed by Ben Affleck and based on a true story. In 1979, during the Iranian Revolution, militants took over the U.S. embassy in Tehran and held 52 Americans hostage. Six other Americans escaped and hid in the Canadian ambassador's home. The C.I.A. and its specialist Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) put together a plan to help the six Americans escape Iran.

Rated R. 120 minutes.

After the film we will walk across the parking lot to Carlyle Grill for drinks, food and conversation.

Intense movie about history. Affleck did a great job. Our gathering at Carlyle Grill was wonderful.

I liked it although I thought someone would have to do CPR if the movie didn't end soon. Talk about suspense ! I knew what was going to happen but Ben still had me sweating. Good job Ben.
