Below is a list of the films that will be shown at Vinology for our joint Wine/Film Meetup on Saturday. If you have or will RSVP "yes", you must call Vinology to secure a spot. If you said "yes" and haven't done so, please call, as space is limited.
Many thanks to Lee (a member of both Film and Wine Meetups) for his efforts in previewing, selecting, securing and screening these films for us. These films are being screened for free and neither Lee nor either Meetup group is receiving any funds from this event; Vinology is using the $20 for room rental, the initial glass of wine for participants and for the all-you-can-eat hors d'oeuvres. -Scott, Organizer

The Wine Bar (12 min - Christian Remde) On a winter night in New York City, an average guy, Henry, wanders into an upscale wine bar looking for a beer. Obviously out of place, he innocently offends both the snooty bartender and the pretty young woman quietly reading next to him. But, when her hotheaded boyfriend comes in looking for a fight Henry decides to take matters into his own hands.
Love Thy Brother (8 min - Ralph Macchio) A comedic look at the disastrous effects of sibling rivalry.

A six year old boy brings home a piece of schoolwork that provokes his parents to question his sexual orientation, and their own, with disastrous yet hilarious results.
The Crush (15 min, Michael Creagh, 2010 Academy Award Nominee) An 8 year old schoolboy is so besotted with his teacher that he challenges her boyfriend to a duel...to the death. (Nominated for the 2010 Academy Award for Live Action Short Film)
Time Freak (11 min - Andrew Bowler and Gigi Causey - 2011 Academy Award Nominee) A neurotic inventor creates a time machine and gets lost traveling around yesterday. (Nominated for the 2011 Academy Award for Live Action Short Film)
New Boy (11 min - Steph Green and Tamara Anghie - 2008 Academy Award Nominee) Captures the experience of being the new kid in school through the eyes of Joseph, a nine year-old African boy. (Nominated for the 2008 Academy Award for Live Action Short Film)
Curfew (19 min - Shawn Christensen - 2012 Academy Award Winner) - At the lowest point of his life, Richie gets a call from his estranged sister, asking him to look after his nine-year old niece, Sophia, for a few hours. (Winner of the 2012 Academy Award for Live Action Short Film)
