Some of my favorite conceptual photographers include Hiroshi Sugimoto, John Hilliard, Duane Michaels, Qingsong Wang there are others but to distinguish whether a photographer's intention is conceptual or just a concept can be tricky without an artist statement. Generally conceptual art involves making a statement about something that's irrelevant to the image itself the idea is more important than the photo. It's a conduit for commentary and not art for arts sake. Wow did I ramble or what?

Im super excited about the conceptual meetup! Although I'm not as experienced in photography as most of you I do think I have a creative yet unique eye for things. I heart wigs-- I have 4 bobs in black, blonde, auburn & lime green. 2 blonde spiral curled wigs-- one just below shoulder length w/dark roots (meant for evil doll costume) & the other is longer (Alice in Wonderland). Black rockabilly style w/bangs, just below shoulder & a long green one w/bangs. If you want pics lemme know!
