Dr. Dog

Whoo whoo! Dr. Dog is coming to Boston! An indie rock band hailing from Philly, their sound combines Beatles with Beach Boys with hard-rock blues. Their eight album "B-Room" is due out in October, so in the meantime feel free to soak in any of their amazing recent albums, "Fate," "Shame, Shame," or "Be The Void." And you know that "Heart it Races" cover that pops up on Pandora every now and then? That's Dr. Dog, too.

I was lucky enough to see them play a double set last fall and it was AMAZING. Two hours of live music and every song was great. Their musicianship and stage presence are a real treat.

Tickets go on sale Fri, Aug 16 at noon. Most people go for GA floor, but if you'd prefer the mezzanine I'm sure there will be others to hang with you. Here's the link:

We'll meet at the Lansdowne Pub just down the street from HoB starting at 6:30, chat it up, get to know eachother, then head over to the venue at 7:15. I'll send out my cell number the day of the show if you're running late.

See you all there!

I lied about the red shirt, I'm actually wearing an olive green shirt. Grabbed a seat at the island bar.
