"Blood Suckers" and "Blood Thirst" at Gary's

Hey everyone, I'll be showing a 70's vampire double feature at my place.

First up is "Bloodsuckers" (1972) (aka "The Freedom Seekers") directed by Robert Hartford-Davis, and starring Patrick McNee, Peter Cushing, and Patrick Mower.  When Oxford scholar Richard Fountain (Patrick Mower) visits Greece he falls in with a group of drug-crazed blood drinkers led by the kinky Chriseis.  His fiancee and three friends try to rescue Richard from her malignant spell but when they bring him back to England he's...different.

Next, Filipino women found with their blood drained bring American sex-crime expert Adam Rourke (Robert Winston) to Minila in search of the killer. Rourke soon becomes prey to a Golden Goddess possessed by "Blood Thirst" (1971).

We'll not only see these two features but also several 70's drive-in trailers and shorts.  feel free to bring a drink or a snack to share.  We'll order some pizzas between the films.  Hope to see you there!

Yikes, I am conflicted! I have recently been moved from the waiting list to the confirmed . . . however, I scheduled some hours at the library to work on a project with an uncertain completion time . . . I'll take myself off the list, but perhaps stop by later if I finish at a reasonable time.

The Blood Suckers trailer is at the link below; sort of NSFW, but it does seem to be spoiler free, and the narrator has a most distinctive way of saying the title:

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
