"True Romance" and "From Dusk Til Dawn" at Gary's

Hey everyone, I'll be having another cult-movie night at my place in Sept, this time featuring films written by Quentin Tarantino, but directed by other directors.

First is "True Romance" directed by Tony Scott and starring Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette as Clarence and Alabama, young lovers who accidentally steal cocaine from the mob.  Can they stay one step ahead of the bad guys, or will they be caught?  The film features an impressive line up of actors including Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, Christopher Walken, and Val Kilmer as Elvis.

"From Dusk Til Dawn" is directed by Robert Rodriguez and stars Harvey Keitel, George Clooney, Quentin Tarentino, and Juliette Lewis.  Clooney and Tarantino are the Gecko brothers-two dangerous outlaws on a crime spree. After kidnapping a father and his two kids they head south to a seedy Mexican bar to hide out in safety. But when they face the bar's truly notorious clientele, they're forced to team up with their hostages in order to make it out alive.

Feel free to bring a drink or a snack to share.  We'll order some pizzas between the films.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
