The Invisible Man and King Kong: Halloween Double Feature

  • Oct 31, 2010 · 5:00 PM
  • This location is no longer available

If you're not going out trick or treating join us for a film buff monster mash. We'll be showing two horror classics from 1933 The Invisible Man, a Universal Pictures release directed by James Whale and starring Claude Rains, along with King Kong from RKO Radio Pictures which was directed by Merina C. Cooper and stars Fay Wray, Robert Armstrong, and Bruce Cabot. Feel free to bring a snack or drink to share, and we'll order pizza between the films.

Claude Rains and the sfx in Invisible Man are just fantastic. Sorry I couldn't stay for all of King Kong.

well you know with the addition of just a few more we can have the opening song of Rocky Horror covered...

    Lips: Michael Rennie was ill
The Day the Earth Stood Still
But he told us where we stand
    And Flash Gordon was there
    In silver underwear
Claude Rains was The Invisible Man
    Then something went wrong
For Fay Wray and King Kong
They got caught in a celluloid jam
    Then at a deadly pace
    It Came From Outer Space
And this is how the message ran...
