"Synecdoche, NY"

Written and directed by Charlie Kaufman, Synecdoche explores some of his previous themes in more depth. It's dark and "mentally rigorous" at times, so we will have an intermission halfway through to refresh, reboot and discuss. It's one of the most meaningful films I've seen and is quite a ride!

Hey, I'm looking forward to seeing everybody tomorrow for Synecdoche. I'm getting some pizzas and making a salad. Feel free to bring a beverage or snack if you wish. We'll start the movie around 8, then have a half hour intermission at 9. See ya around 7ish if you want to hang out or at 8 for the movie. :)

I've seen all of Charlie Kaufman's movies except for this one so it should be interesting. Unfortunately it did not do well at the box office and helped derail Kaufman's career.
