"The Fault in Our Stars" at Landmark Glendale

Hey everyone, "The Fault in Our Stars" is the adaptation of the YA novel directed by Josh Boone. Hazel (Shailene Woodey) and Gus (Ansel Elgert) are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel's other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group.

The 7PM time is a placeholder and the actual time will be updated when it becomes available. Tickets are $10.00 per person.  Our group will be gathered near the concession stand before the film.  After the film we'll head to "O'Charleys" for dinner and discussion.  Hope to see you there!

I really want to see this but I think I will go alone as I will be a blubbering mess by movie's end and nobody needs to see that! Loved the book and I hear the movie follows it pretty closely.

This movie has Hoosier connections--not only is it set in Indianapolis, but the author of the book, John Green, lives in Indy with his wife who used to be a curator at IMA. Green was also recently in Time magazine--apparently the pre-release publicity machine has been hard at work.
