How often do you watch movies?

Not as often as I like. Not too long ago, I was watching movies at least twice a month; nowadays, I'm lucky if I get to see a movie at all.

Do you have a favorite director?

Hard for me to say. As of now, it's a three-way tie between Brad Bird, George Lucas and Peter Jackson., but that could change.

Who are your favorite actors?

(Not an all-exhaustive list:) Male: John Wayne, Robert Downey, Jr., Paul Newman, Peter Sellers, Harrison Ford, Toshiro Mifune, Sir Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen, John Rhys-Davies, Clint Eastwood. Female: Katherine Hepburn, Liv Tyler, Cate Blanchette, Julianne Hough, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sigourney Weaver, Zoe Saldana.

Are there movies you think of as guilty pleasures?

"The Incredibles". Probably the best modern animated film that both honors and sends up the classic comic-book superhero genre, presented with the flair of a 1960s James Bond movie. A superlative effort from director/writer Brad Bird.

Share a few of your favorite movies:

The "original" Star Wars trilogy, the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, "2001: A Space Odyssey", the Indiana Jones films (except for "Crystal Skull"), "Avatar" (not to be confused with the M. Night Shamaylan travesty "The Last Airbender"), and the Disney/Pixar films (tops among those are "The Incredibles" and "WALL-E").

Hi, I'm Glenn, occasional film buff. I'm looking for more interesting people to meet, and I hope to gain a better appreciation for film by meeting people who have different likes and dislikes.
