Where: Gary's house

(317)[masked]

Hey Everyone. My birthday is in the month of August, so I'm celebrating by showing two cult films made in 1966, the year of my birth.
"Batman" is the feature film version of the TV series staring Adam West and Burt Ward. Can the dynamic duo save the delegates from the United World from being freeze dried by the worlds greatest super-villians, the Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, and the Riddler? With Cesar Romero as the Joker, Burgess Meredith as the Penguin, Frank Gorshin as the Riddler, and Lee Meriwether as the Catwoman.
I'll also be showing the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version of 'Manos, the Hands of Fate". "Manos" has the reputation of being the worst film ever made. It was the only film in MST3K's long history to bring Joel and the bots to their breaking point. No joke, it was written, produced, directed, and starred a fertilizer salesman from El Paso Texas named Hal P. Warren. Warren plays a man vacationing with his wife, daughter, and poodle Peppy. He takes a wrong turn and ends up in the lair of Manos. Can the family escape the clutches of Manos and his very strange manservant Torgo?
Feel free to bing a drink or snack to share. We'll order some pizzas between the films. Hope to see you there!
