I locked my keys in my car, so I was late for the meeting tonight. I tried to call to see if we can show up late and how long you would be meeting, but the number listed for the Panera you were meeting at wouldn't go through. We plan to be there December 27th. Hi, Brad. Sorry I've been missing all the meetings, but it looks likely that I can make tonight's. However, I can't reply, because (even though I get all the notices and I've never dropped out) Meetup doesn't recognize me as a member. (It happened to me with all my Meetup groups -- even the one of which I was assistant orgainzer.) So, I'm a "strong maybe" for tonight (Friday), even though I don't officially exist. --Tim Kern

When will your group be starting a new book?

I will continue to try to find a way to change my RSVP to "No", but wanted you to know that a family matter is sending me out of state for the next week. Believe me, I'd rather be at book group than driving 25 hours back from El Paso, Texas. I thought it was a good book and am glad to have been introduced to Rushdie's writings. Please post some of the others reactions for those of us who can't be there!!!

I've been hoping for a Great Books club in Indy for some time. We only need two people to make it work. Looking forward to it. :)
