Are you running CF8? If so just make it into a <cfpresentation/> and it will launch a browser plugin for an Adobe Connect session via Flash
I know, I'm finally getting into the design stuff ... I am
in a bit of a quandary and wonder if someone might be able to figure something
out for me.
We have a training video we want to put on the intranet. Naturally, we've not done this before, so everything has to be set up from scratch. One of the hardware guys shoots the video and hands me the .mpg file.
We figure we can just embed it and go, because we use IE here (and there aren't going to be many Firefox users other than me), but IE and Windows Media Player argue sometimes, so that's out.
So now we want to use Flash instead. I make the .flv file, import it into Flash, pick my skin, publish to .swf and .html, upload the files ... and usually all I get is the movie, no skin. boo.
Through trial and error, I uploaded all the files I thought I needed: AC_RunActiveContent.js, the skin .swf, the movie .swf, the .flv file to play, and the .html file (modified so the movie doesn't play in the upper-left corner of the frame). Everything's in the same folder for now - I didn't want to mess with folder issues until I actually got one up and running.
We're hoping to get this worked out today so that we can finalize the video and launch it tomorrow. If anyone has any ideas about what else I've been doing wrong, I would love to hear them.
