Announcing a new Meetup for Indianapolis Ambassadors!

What: Lincoln Exhibits - February Social Event

When: Saturday, February 27,[masked]:30 AM

Price: $10.00 per person

Indiana State Museum
650 W. Washington St.
Indianapolis, IN 46204

The Indianapolis State Museum is hosting two exhibits of one of our greatest presidents: With Charity for All: The Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection and With Malice Toward None: The Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Exhibition.

With Charity for All: The Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection, will highlight artifacts that paint a picture of an ordinary man who rose to become, perhaps, the greatest leader in American history.

With Malice Toward None: The Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Exhibition is a Library of Congress exhibit that commemorates the 200th anniversary of the birth of the nation?s revered 16th president. More than a chronological account of the life of Abraham Lincoln, the exhibition reveals Lincoln the man, whose thoughts, words and actions were deeply affected by personal experiences and pivotal historic events.

Both of these exhibits have timed entry, so the start time will not be finalized until the tickets are purchased, but the hope is to have the entries be near the beginning of the day (i.e., 8:30 a.m.). I will make the reservations after the February General Meeting (Feb 3rd). Those that pay after that date may risk not getting the same start time as the rest of the group.

Please email [address removed] and let me know if you are interested. Cost is $7.00 for Indy Ambassadors Members, $10.00 for non-Indy Ambassadors Members. Please pay by the February General Meeting or send in your check to the Indy Ambassadors PO Box. Please email me if you send a check so I can keep an eye out for it.
