Do317 1 year anniversary party feat. Houndmouth

Come celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Do317 in Indy with a special performance in the Do317 Lounge by Louisville based band, Houndmouth. Houndmouth, a bluesy folk-rock band, have performed a couple of well-received opening sets here in Indy at shows by The Lumineers and J. Roddy Walston & The Business. I saw them at the J. Roddy show, and was very impressed by their songcraft and vocal harmonies. They're a very up-beat band with an excellent stage presence, so this should be a very lively affair in the lounge.

Night Moves, a soulful dance-rock trio from the Twin Cities, will be opening the show. There are also plans for giveaways including concert tickets, merchandise, and more. The best part is that the first 100 people to RSVP will receive free admission. Tickets are $10 after that.

All of the free passes have been claimed, but you can buy tickets for only $10, which is still a good deal for two great bands. Buy tickets here:

Such a great show from start to finish! I knew going in that Houndmouth would be great based on other times I had seen them, and they lived up to those expectations. What took me by surprise was just how good both of the opening bands were. Chicago band, Baliff, wielded an eclectic mix of influences into their exotic, rhythmic rock, and Night Moves brought both intensity and catchy grooves with their dance-friendly set. Unfortunately I didn't win any of the sweet prizes Do317 raffled away, but I was having such a good time enjoying the awesome music with my fellow cohorts that I didn't even care.

Free passes are gone, but I have included a link to buy tickets for only $10. Also, I previously had the location listed as the Do317 Lounge, but it is actually at Radio Radio and I have changed the event page to reflect that.
