All kinds of games all kinds'a time - House open from 10am Saturday to Sunday 10am.  Come game, camp, swim, and hang out for the whole time or just a few hours.

Let me know if you'd like to set up a scheduled game and I'll set an area aside for you.

What to bring?

Well.. let's see.. what you want to play if you're particular, swimming stuff if you are going to swim, camping stuff if you are going to spend the night, food and stuff to drink.  We will have plenty of paper goods and popcorn but everything else will be up to you guys...everyone should bring along enough hot dogs, side dishes, snacks, and soda for themselves and to share.  (There may be organization around this at some point.)

Parking onsite will be reserved for those staying the night.  Everyone else should park over across the street on Bar Will.

Party goes to PG-13 at 6PM.. .Kids of all ages are welcome until 6pm at which time only kids old enough to entertain and take care of themselves should still be on property.

Good Morning! If you are camping, you may park in the driveway on the right hand side. You can angle park into the grass. If you are not camping please park across the street on Barr Will. See you soon!

  • Shane

    Be there Saturday night...

    August 2, 2013

  • Matt

Good news! My cousin will be coming with me so that makes 3 for TI if you are still interested Aaron. I am hoping to be there by 10:30ish to set up and see if anyone else wants to play. 5 players seems to be the best for this type of game and will teach anyone interested in playing. Heather, would it be to much trouble to ask for a round table? If you've ever seen this game in action it can take up a bit of room. Are you fine with that?

    August 2, 2013

    • Flash G.

We;ve got a lot of table space. A LOT. I'm not sure about a round one, but e can certainly get you one of your own.

      August 2, 2013

    • Heather

There is an oval in the basement that will work great

      August 2, 2013

  • Jim S.

so are we responsible for food? I don't know if that ever got organized.

FYI, I'm driving back home tonight late so I'll be sleeping in at first. I'll see you guys after noon and will probably stay late, but not the entire night

    August 2, 2013

    • Flash G.

We'll have hot dogs and popcorn. Anything else is bring your own. :)

I have been lurking on this group for a while. This looks like fun, is close to my home and I would like to attend. But, I haven't done much gaming for a long time. Will you have anything available for newbies?

    1 · August 1, 2013

    • Flash G.

Of course we will! Please do come!

      August 1, 2013

There is a certain tendency for people to bring games that don't fit into the usual evening board game sessions. (For example, I'm bringing Merchant of Venus, Catan: Explorers & Pirates, Lunar Rails, and Order of the Stick.) That said, the last time I was at Browningham, all but one of the games I played were newbie-friendly from my personal collection: http://www.boardgameg...

Can the backyard of the house fit a 9 person tent? because My lil bro Andy and I would like to camp over night.

The Google Street View car apparently went down their street at some point, so the map link above can eventually lead you to a picture of their front yard.

I've got Game of Thrones 2nd edition, Twilight Imperium and ATTACK and I'm more than happy to play/teach them to anyone.

    2 · June 25, 2013

    • Matt

Awesome! Twilight Imperium will play 3-8 and can take 6+ hours with experienced players I'd be happy to get setup and started playing by noon if we can get at least 1-2 other players to join.

This event has gotten amazing response so far, and I'm glad I'm not the only first-timer who will be there. Looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow!

I was planning on coming roughly at starting time, up until I go to work at 4 and then will probably return after 11 when I'm off. Never been to a meetup before, but I'll bring along my cache of games. I mostly have lighter games that can be played in an hour or less: Ticket To Ride, Small World, Carcassonne, Dominion, Pandemic, Forbidden Island, Lords of Waterdeep, Sentinels of the Multiverse, King of Tokyo, Dixit, Love Letter, The Resistance, Airlines Europe, Wits and Wagers, etc. Heaviest game I have is Mage Knight, which I'm happy to teach but is a beast to learn for new players.

    August 2, 2013

    • Flash G.

      Yeah!

      August 2, 2013

    • Shane

Yeah, Mage Knight qualifies as heavy. I'd be up for playing Airlines Europe.

      August 2, 2013

  • Timothy 'Peachy' D.

I've not had a 24-hour game day since Geekway to the West, which was awesome. I can't promise if I'll be able to make this (it would be my first attendance with this group, actually), but if I do, I'll bring along my suitcase of games, just in case.

    1 · August 2, 2013

    • Flash G.

      You should totally attend!

      August 2, 2013

  • Richard Frederick B.

Ok, Where are we cooking our hot dogs at??

    August 1, 2013

    • Flash G.

I don't think you need to. We have enough to last till the heat death of the universe.

      August 1, 2013

    • Shane

      Heat death of the universe...whoa.

      August 1, 2013

  • Daniel W. J.

I'm trying to decide whether to make a spaghetti casserole or a dump cake for this. I'm leaning toward the casserole so that I'll be able to have meat without mooching off someone else, but I don't know what sort of surpluses will be there.

    August 1, 2013

    • Flash G.

Don't worry about mooching. There should be plenty of hot dogs & popcorn to go around.

      August 1, 2013

  • Chuck W

    Anyone planning any RPG sessions?

I'll bring along a of the board games we have as well, and maybe one or two of the smaller strategy (chit) games I haven't had a chance to play yet.

We'll just kind of see what happens.

    August 1, 2013

    • Flash G.

RPG?! I Love RPG's! So ... if we can get some players!

      August 1, 2013

  • scott c.

This looks like a great way to get started in the group. Still got some things to check on, but I will probably come, and bring my14 year old along as well.

    July 29, 2013

    • Heather

That sounds great! I think we used to be in a D&D game together in like '05 or so. Glad to hear you ate bringing a 14 year old... I have a 14 yr old step daughter who will enjoy having someone her age around. :)

      July 30, 2013

  • dr edward r.

    I will bring Titan.

    July 28, 2013

  • Steven H.

I'll be bringing my wife Sherry of course :)

    July 28, 2013

  • David P.

I'll be working a lot of Saturday, but I could come before and after work. My background is Pathfinder, but my current interest is board games. Would love to play Small World, Dominion, Dixit, Ticket To Ride, Carcassonne, etc. would there be room for that, or is it primarily RPG gamers?

    July 23, 2013

    • Heather

So far this sounds like its going to be just board games and hanging out. I haven't heard from anyone wanting to run a RPG. :)

      July 24, 2013

  • Mark H.

I'm interested and will probably be there.

    1 · July 14, 2013

Dang it :( I will be out of town that weekend

    July 4, 2013

I will attempt to make it. Sounds like a load of fun :)
