To all the newcomers if you stop by on a meetup night, please ask anyone there for Ken. I make an effort to say hello to all the new gamers and explain the group. There may be times when that doesn't happen or I won't get a chance to speak with you until later in the evening.

Now that is a good idea, Bryan. We don't want people to feel unwelcome, but it has gotten s o popular, people get a little lost in the game errr crowd lol. I will try to figure something out, and try to come out as much as I can for at least the rest of this mo and and October. Lets get the more games in for all the newbies!!

Kyle, I felt the same way you did, but I was fortunate enough to have a couple of guys invite me after a little waiting. Maybe it would be a good idea to have a flag or something to put on the tables when you are looking for more players?

Glad you had a good time Christopher! I started this a couple of years ago and am so happy to see how far along it has come! I wish I could come more than I do, to welcome new people. Ken has done a great job of taking over that for me. My weeks have become so hectic and I am about to give birth in the next month or so, not sure I will be there that much the remainder of the year :(

Sorry about that, Kyle! You stopped by my table for a few minutes and it was right when we were learning the rules for the game we were playing. I don't mind conversation once the game gets going. You should give it another chance. This was the first event I could actually make and it was a lot of fun! Looking forward to going back.

Sorry you experienced that Kyle. We can't be there until after 5 most times and sometimes have that problem. We haven't been because we have gotten to busy. I tell you what, when we get a chance to go, I will let you know, and please come. Since we come late we would love to get a game in with someone.

Well, don't get there late. Got there after 6 and the tables were all full. Nobody seemed very interested in talking. After trying to make conversation and standing around awkwardly for a few minutes, I just left. Needless to say, pretty disappointing. Impossible for me to make it there on a weeknight at 5, so I won't be back.

Also running late. I'll be there closer to 6.

The Kickstarter is now complete for Airborne In Your Pocket. If you helped kickstart the game, let me know and you will receive your entry for the D-Day Dice giveaway. Otherwise, there will still be a few chances to earn entries. Stop in at either The Arsenal or The Game Preserve during scheduled game days, play a game and receive 1 entry. The promotion runs through the end of September.

I'm always up for Arkham Horror. I also have Rex: Final Days of an Empire, Divided Republic, Blood Bowl: Team Manager, and Chaos In the Old World. Those seem like ones that shouldn't take too long to set up or play, and not too difficult to learn for those who haven't played before.
