Warhammer: Invasion Living Card Game

Hey everyone! Our last few meeting have been great fun, having 4-8 people come play. We’ll be doing something similar on Monday, December 3rd and we hope you can come! Basically we do a simple round-robin tournament of constructed decks or just play each other and earn the achievements from the League Kit FFG is sending us. Each player brings a deck to play with for the evening throughout the tournament, from the various battle packs, and then declare a winner around 9:30 or before if we finish early. No pressure, no prizes, no costs, just fun of playing Invasion. We’d love to get more new players who would like to join us. We bring enough cards and decks to provide for anyone who would like to learn the game and I’m usually there 15 minutes early to teach. Please feel free to come by at anytime if you are interested in joining us!
About Invasion: Part of the Fantasy Flight Games Living Card Game model, Warhammer: Invasion offers a great punch in a quick amount of time. Most of the games take 15-30 minutes to play and really scratch that CCG itch for board gamers, despite not being a true CCG. Here is a link to FFG’s website that has a great tutorial on it as well for those who’d like to learn the rules: http://fantasyflightgames.com/edge_minisite.asp?eidm=85&enmi=Warhammer:%20Invasion%20The%20Card%20Game.

This seems cool, but I just got back from a drive from NY, and might not be able to make it for gas reasons. It is all the way north of where I am :(

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
