Greetings from Gamerz,

Just to clarify. While Gamerz does not require reservations, we welcome them and prefer knowing large groups are coming so we can accommodate them. We will reserve two private rooms for you guys should you want them just let us know if you need more.

We have the largest play space in the Midwest with over 2000 sq ft of dedicated gamerooms so space is never an issue. For those of you new to us, we never charge for play space=D

Personally, I think either store suits our needs. The Arsenal would give each group its own space and good food onsite, where Gamerz wouldn't have the cost involved (we can just show up but no reservations available).

Announcing a new Meetup for Indy Gamers!

What: September Specialty Meetup II

When: September 26,[masked]:00 PM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

This is the second part to the all-day meetup for you night owls! I have visited the game stores in town this past week. It seems the two prime choices for this type of meetup are Gamerz on the south side and the Arsenal which is on Virginia (and fairly close to the 65 and 70 split).

Here's what I'd like to offer. We will have the following types of games (depending on interest):

One area for party games - where 6 to 12 people can play. I have some games already picked out and have purchased some..."extras" that will make it more fun.

One area for large board gaming - either a war game, an 18xx, or maybe run Descent?

One (or two) areas for a standard Eurogame...(haha, standard - anything from Catan to Small World to Dominion).

Here's what I need from you. If you're interested, I need a committed "yes" from at least 15 people. After you RSVP "yes," answer whether you would prefer Gamerz or the Arsenal - or you're good with either. Personally, I think either store suits our needs. The Arsenal would give each group its own space and good food onsite, where Gamerz wouldn't have the cost involved (we can just show up but no reservations available).

I have some ideas to "spice it up;" but I'm keeping that to myself for now.

I need all RSVP's to be made by Sunday, September 13th. biggrin

Shane
