I meant to do a recap the night after but somehow I missed that window!
Centipede was hacked on for about 4 hours, some of which was devoted
to getting everyone familiar with git and setup with gosu! Chris
Zelenak and myself hacked on it a bit in the days after the hackfest
to fix a few lingering issues.
* a deadly wand that shoots one "thing" at enemies and mushrooms
* a crazy centipede who is somewhat prone to crashing the game at
this moment :)
* flea who drops mushrooms
* spider who only makes cool noises and moves around
* shootable mushrooms
* sounds for pretty much everything
Want to try out the code?
# install gosu
gem install gosu # this works on mac, not so easy on linux
git clone git://github.com/jqr/centipede.git
If anyone wants commit access to the main repo just ask.
