Ruby Koans & We're Hiring

From: Jeff B.

Hi everybody,

I'm a little late to the discussion but one of the things that I brought up last week was Ruby Koans (http://rubykoans.com/). I found them extremely helpful when I was just starting out because it teaches you Ruby through testing so it gives a good introduction to both topics. You can either download the koans locally, or, you can do a subset of them online (really helpful if you're stuck at your soul-sucking corporate job for most of the day :)

Also, we're looking for an experience Ruby/Rails developer to join us on the 100% remote Mad Mimi development team. Here's an older job posting you can take a look at to see what we're all about: https://jobs.github.com/positions/235dacfc-cb3b-11e1-9686-8d4a2fc68f9d. Contrary to what that listing says, we're actually looking for a developer here in the States as well. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
