Protest Eli Lilly shareholder meeting

Eli Lilly is a client of Covance and tests on a large number of animals for various products. They also have a history of outsourcing these tests to labs in China. We want to have a presence outside of their shareholder meeting with folks holding signs that say “This Is Animal Testing” with images of animals abused in labs.

PETA owns stock in Eli Lilly and will be inside presenting this issue to shareholders. If we get enough local people on board, PETA will be pitching this demonstration to local media.

The protest is between 10:30 and 11:30, but please arrive by 10:15 or so.

Please help out if you can so we can make our voice heard for the animals.

Everything we need will be provided by PETA, but you can also bring your own signs.

This is at the corner of Delaware and McCarthy... I've mapped the directions a few times and get slightly different spots, so just meet at this intersection.

Thanks Joel--for making us aware and setting up the event. Everyone, please, please try to make this one, and let me know if you need a ride or want to carpool. You can learn more about the cruelty here (and even though it's hard to look at, understanding is the first step in helping)

I'm 50/50 whether or not I'll be able to attend due to work. I hope to!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
