Heartbleed information and discussion

The "Heartbleed" vulnerability was announced last week, along with the realization that a significant number of internet web servers are at risk. This vulnerability is trivial to exploit, and allows an attacker to remotely monitor the memory of your web server to enumerate data, user credentials, and private encryption keys. Steve Fox, CEO of Security Pursuit, will be discussing the real world impact of this vulnerability, and what you should be doing to protect yourself. Time permitting, we will be doing a live demo reading memory from a vulnerable server.

Security Pursuit will be sponsoring the event with 1 free drink ticket per person, a bloody mary bar, and various appetizers provided.
