Hi Gang

Trust + Tao, verse 17 + 18!

Come along and find out why
we currently seem to USE “trust/distrust” as a weapon to make people behave the way we think they should! :(
Find out what might be possible, if we simply trusted everyone to do what they do! And hence no longer need to threaten people with our “trust/distrust”?
Or as Lao Tzu said 2,500yrs ago -
“If you don't trust the people, you make them untrustworthy”

When the Master governs, the people are hardly aware that he exists. Next best is a leader who is loved.
Next, one who is feared. The worst is one who is despised.
If you don't trust the people, you make them untrustworthy. The Master doesn't talk, he acts.
When his work is done, the people say, "Amazing we did it, all by ourselves!"
When the great Tao is forgotten, goodness and piety appear. When the body's intelligence declines,
cleverness and knowledge step forth. When there is no peace in the family, filial piety begins.
When the country falls into chaos, patriotism is born.

We will be reviewing our thoughts and ideas from last weeks verse and asking questions like –
1. How could we trust everyone, doesn’t that sound mad?
2. Why would “goodness and piety” be worse than following the Tao?
And I’m sure alot more! :)

“BEcome part of the SOLUTION" to our "Current level of thinking” ala Einstein -
"Our current level of thinking CREATES our Problems"! :(
And come along and find out/explore more! :)

I STRONGLY recommend the “10 meetings deal”, not just because I want you to come back and it’s the best deal, but because this “different level of thinking” does not seem “easy” for most minds to grasp. At best, I feel you “may” get some sort of “intellectual appreciation” of it, from the first meeting. Hence I recommend at least 10 sessions to get a better “intellectual appreciation and deeper understanding” of it and maybe even start to get a “real experience” of it, in your life/world! I think anything less, would be “cheating” yourself and maybe leave you with a “very limited” and possibly “false” impression of what is available, why and how etc! :(
I look forward to seeing you and helping you “Discover your Life’s Vision/Game of Life”! :)

PS Here are the 3 book references, I will be using –
1. “Tao de Ching” by Stephen Mitchell. (Also seems to come in a very handy pocket size, for quick inspirational reference!)
2. “Change your thoughts – change your life” (living the wisdom of the Tao) by Dr Wayne Dyer.
1. “A Thousand Names for Joy: Living in Harmony with the Way Things Are” by Byron Katie

If you have any other questions on the “Tao de Ching” or have your own interpretations, books, CDs, videos etc etc, please feel free to bring them along! :)

With thanks

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
