Do you find you spend your life chasing something better than you currently have, wealth, success, recognition, health, love etc?
What do you think might happen if you were satisfied and content with your life right now and in every moment?
Come along and explore why we seem to hate simply being contented and satisfied with our lives, relationships, jobs, world etc and why we feel we need discontent and dissatisfaction to Motivate us in our lives and the world.:(
There was something formless and perfect before the universe was born.
It is serene. Empty. Solitary. Unchanging. Infinite. Eternally present.
It is the mother of the universe. For lack of a better name, I call it the Tao.
It flows through all things, inside and outside, and returns to the origin of all things.
The Tao is great. The universe is great. Earth is great. Man is great. These are the four great powers.
Man follows the earth. Earth follows the universe. The universe follows the Tao. The Tao follows only itself.
The heavy is the root of the light. The unmoved is the source of all movement.
Thus the Master travels all day without leaving home. However splendid the views, she stays serenely in herself.
Why should the lord of the country flit about like a fool?
If you let yourself be blown to and fro, you lose touch with your root.
If you let restlessness move you, you lose touch with who you are.
We will be reviewing our thoughts and ideas from last weeks verse and asking questions like –
1. How can something “flow through all things, inside and outside”?
2. Why do we seem to prefer “our restlessness” to motivate us?
And I’m sure alot more! :)

I STRONGLY recommend the “10 meetings deal”, not just because I want you to come back and it’s the best deal, but because this “different level of thinking” does not seem “easy” for most minds to grasp. At best, I feel you “may” get some sort of “intellectual appreciation” of it, from the first meeting. Hence I recommend at least 10 sessions to get a better “intellectual appreciation and deeper understanding” of it and maybe even start to get a “real experience” of it, in your life/world! I think anything less, would be “cheating” yourself and maybe leave you with a “very limited” and possibly “false” impression of what is available, why and how etc! :(
I look forward to seeing you and helping you “Discover your Life’s Vision/Game of Life”! :)
PS Here are the 3 book references, I will be using –
1. “Tao de Ching” by Stephen Mitchell. (Also seems to come in a very handy pocket size, for quick inspirational reference!)
2. “Change your thoughts – change your life” (living the wisdom of the Tao) by Dr Wayne Dyer.
3. “A Thousand Names for Joy: Living in Harmony with the Way Things Are” by Byron Katie
If you have any other questions on the “Tao de Ching” or have your own interpretations, books, CDs, videos etc etc, please feel free to bring them along! :)
