When you think about helping people to change, enabling change in organisations and changing yourself, what words occur to you? My guess is most people think about struggle, resistance, defensiveness, persuasion, anxiety, analysis, diagnosis, problems and internal politics and willpower.
Oh dear, these all sound like hard work and none are much fun, and certainly not joyous.
I hope to show you that it doesn’t have to be this way. I’ll be sharing stories, giving some ideas and, if you are willing, asking you to try some things for yourselves at the event. I intend that the evening will be fun, that you will take away some ideas to try, and that we all learn a few valuable things. It will be participative, not just a “talk”.
I hope it will be a joy too – just to be consistent
(And you will hear about the unexpected power of tiddlywinks!)
I have been an independent facilitator of change and development for many years. Before that, I was an internal organisation development consultant with ICI and, in the dark ages, I was a research chemist.
I like to work by discovering strengths and magnifying them, rather than fixing weaknesses. It’s not just easier and more fun; it’s also more effective.
Several years ago I started publishing everything I know on the web http://www.nickheap.co.uk/. It’s all free for anyone to access and use, so please help yourselves.
A NEW OFFERING
I have a rare ability to produce ideas about almost anything. If you want some ideas about an issue, you can Skype me on nickheap (or call[masked]) and have half an hour of my time. If you don’t get anything valuable, you don’t pay me. If you do, I would charge an individual £50 + VAT, which is a discounted price. I would also appreciate some comments on my service so I can improve it.
If you have any questions or comments please call[masked] or[masked] or email [masked]
