AI, Pizza, and Beer

This group grew out of the Stanford online AI-Class, and is a working and study group for those who are using and interested in AI.

We have short lectures, discuss interesting topics and advancements in AI, share our own AI projects, help each other, and collaborate/commiserate over pizza and beer.

Every member is invited to organize notes on their own project to share and seek collaborative advice.  This is a dynamic field and learning from new people helps spread good ideas fast.

Full, real names are required for security.  Please set your meetup name or e-mail us with it.  ID required.

It was a great pleasure to participate meeting of New England Artificial Intelligence on Apr 10. Discussion in our group "Evolutionary Models" was very energetic, vivid, and rich in opinions and ideas. It showed the real interest in this topic.

I am using it, Rapid Miner, hope it will be able to handle all the trivial work of building a reliable model!

Here?s the list of resources from the RapidMiner demo presentation. I especially recommend the vancoverdata site. Given the time constraints and the scope; I realize it was a very rushed presentation. I?ll post a step by step guide and code when time permits (hopefully shortly).

Very good meeting. Enlightening talk (now I know that RapidMiner is a good prototyping tool) and stimulating follow-up discussions.

Great meetup. I love the format - a shortish, interesting talk followed by small, topic-based group discussions. Beer, pizza and computer science == goodness.

We have a speaker 20 minute lightning talk scheduled and then there will be break out sessions.

Is there an agenda for this tuesday or is it more free wheeling discussion?
