Thanks for joining everyone. I was afraid of those with lot of experience since production & developing for a tablet would require changing a little, but you all look like a good group. For example, photographers would need to concentrate more on video, typographers/ adobe illustrators would need to have some understanding on animating type and vector shapes. Since the medium is digital and not paper, I personally believe a lot of things should be designed to move. I have some ideas for how to guide discussions but it is all hypothetical until the tablets (iPad, HP Slate, Joo Joo) become available. I want everyone to be flexible to change and be open. We would be inventing a system and program... I'm hoping that is our goal.
I'm going to be 27 on March 22. I have worked at a large newspaper publication in NYC for about 3 years. I just started a design,print, and web company in Hoboken. I am currently consulting in art departments in NYC. I have been in design, programing and website building for 5 years. I'm looking forward to meeting many of you soon and to discuss your ideas.
