NEW TIME and NEW PLACE - SWEDISH Advanced, Intermediate and Basic conversation

  • December 9, 2012 · 5:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE GOING TO MEET IN CAFE ART AT 17.00, not in the Café Gråmunken at 16.00

We will be splitting you up into varying levels of

Advanced, Intermediate and Basic SWEDISH

We will focus mainly on the flow of conversation.

This will be achieved through conversation on current topics which will assist in making sure there is always something to talk about.

Feel free to bring any ideas of input with you, topics for discussion, any language games you may think may work...

Please be considerate of your organiser and other members by keeping your RSVPs up to date and attending events when you indicate that you will. If you're on the waiting list, please check your status in case you've been moved up to the Attendees list. Cancellations within 24 hours of the event will be considered a "No show". This can affect your rsvp at the next event or even be cause for being removed from the group (for repeated no shows).

The first time you attend, you will be asked to fill in a membership form, this is purely for the records of the group only.

      Hi Deepak,
I don't know who Josephine is but as I told you, the RSVP open exactly seven days before, that means on the previous Sunday. That way, when the email is sent, the RSVP are open already :-)

Helo Jorgen & Becky and other event hosts,

Everytime I get an email alert the event is full and no spots left. This seems to be not working if its always full. Do you have to get into the waiting list every week and never get a chance to join the group or how does it actually work?

Exactly, you can go to the website and sign in before the email is sent, as soon as the RSVP opens :-)

People who are marked as "hosts" are just helpers who come very regularly, but not every single week. So we can't change the number immediately because maybe the hosts can't come, so we have to let them time to decide if they come or not, and this is can be during the whole week.

We try to change the status into "Attending" as soon as possible but it's difficult to do it before the week-end so we usually do it on Fridays or Saturdays.
But if a host signs in in the night during Saturday and Sunday, we may add some more people on Sunday morning, so you never know :-)

As you can see, the number of helpers decides everything. So we have to wait to know how many are sure to come to be able to plan how many people come...

And as everybody who helps does it as volunteers without getting paid or anything else in exchange, we are already very grateful that they come and help!

This is the right moment to thank everybody for giving their time for making this group run! :-)

Deepak, see you certainly on Sunday :-)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
