RUSSIAN/SWEDISH with Anna (You must speak Some Swedish and Russian) 6.30-8.00

  • January 23, 2013 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This is a great opportunity to practice your Russian, Swedish or both in a relaxed, friendly and informal atmosphere with native speakers!!! Everybody can come: beginners, amateurs and experts.

But please note, if you are wanting to come just for Swedish at a basic level, it is better you join one of the dedicated Swedish groups on a Sunday or Monday.

This will be hosted by Anna, a native Russian speaker.

We will start at 6.30pm and finish at 8.00pm speaking approximately 45 minutes of Russian and another 45 minutes of Swedish (together with the Swedish/German group). If you're interested in German, you can stay for 45 minutes of conversational German afterwards.

Добро пожаловать :-) eller varmt välkommen :-)

Hey Lars! It's great that you liked our meetup. It's a good idea to consider meeting more often. Högdalen is a good place for sure, but The Old Town is still more convenient place for participants from different parts of the city.

yeaahhh,, you might be right about the location,,, but I mean there are nothing to loose,,, if we offer, and if I get help from some native speaking russian,, like you,, than we can at least try,, there are actually russian school in the south of stockholm,, so for certainly there are lot of russian in the town, and the next thing is where they would like to meet,, I even thought we could have discussion forum about russian writer , Tolstoy, Dostojevskij, or musician , or maybe simply just play chess,, there plenty of very good russian chess player in the history,, even if at present the world best chess player are not russian !!!

Lars, unfortunately I can't help you with Högdalen. It's too far away for me and I don't really have time more than every second week right now. It's a great idea to discuss writers, music and so on. Yes, Soviet Union was very strong in chess. You can find a company to play chess in Kulturhuset. I met a couple of Russians playing chess there.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
