Re: [meditation-422] Kirtan percussionist(s) needed

Hey all, desire is more important than virtuosity with us. ?We can learn these songs together and we're willing to coach someone along. ?We have all been playing music for quite a while, but some of us (myself included) are trying our hands at new instruments. ?The percussion in the songs we're doing is pretty simple... certainly the ability to keep a steady beat is important, but like I said, desire is more important than virtuosity.

shantih

Shantih, friends!

I've been getting together with a few friends to form a kirtan band... we have free rehearsal space in Soho... and we even have a djembe at the studio. We're looking for a percussionist (or percussionists) to join us. Playing some stuff by Krishna Das, Dave Stringer, Satkirin Kaur Khalsa etc. Please email me (Peter) at [address removed] or call[masked]-6956.

Thanks so much!
