This month enjoy the music of Heart-Dawn. This international women's ensemble inspires and delights the listeners with the beautiful melodies of the renowned musician and composer Sri Chinmoy. Harmonium, glockenspiel, guitar, cymbals and drums complement the delicate vocals. A meditative journey to the Source. The ensemble: Antana (Canada) Harmonium, Samahita (Germany) Glockenspiel, Tanya (Ukraine) Harmonium, Jayalata (Czech Republic) Guitar, Suchitra (Hungary) Cymbals, Nitika (Macedonia) vocals.)
Join us for an evening of music, prayer and meditation to help bring about peace in the world and in ourselves. Satsang is a Sanskrit term meaning “union of truth”. Kirtan is a part of the Hindu tradition of singing the praises of the divine in its many forms; as such it is an important practice of devotional yoga. It is an opportunity to ask questions and hear inspiring words. It is a chance to focus inwardly rather than outwardly. Those who attend regularly find that their lives improve remarkably, they are more energetic, clearer in mind and healthier in body...many experience deep healing.
Socialize and share healthful vegan snacks provided by all participating. Fee for the evening is your contribution of VEGAN food to share and/or a suggested $10 donation. RSVP by Sat,5pm. [masked]
