French Conversation meetup -- Paris in Nolita

Bonjour tout le monde,

Le Français, ça ouvre des portes, je serai là à 6h00 pétantes et trébuchantes pour accueillir les nouveaux et les débutantes. This Monday we will raise a toast (or a dozen) to celebrate the 250th meetup event I have "organized" since I created French New York City in October 2011. At that time we were "The Frenchies". We still are ! The meetup got quickly popular thanks to unexpected word of mouth :

If you want a free French conversation workshop at happy hour, let's do it : our next French Monday will be held at Ken & Cook in Nolita (yes, again). It's a great Restaurant/Bar with outdoor seating and a great happy hour menu, so you can come as early of 5pm.

We are inviting all of our French groups for French conversations. Join us if you are beginner or advanced french speaker. There will be no music upstairs so its easy to converse with people : we all meet at the bar. Finally, if you want to party after 10pm, we can go downstairs at Lil Charlie's.

If you haven't been with the group this will be a good time to come and meet people.

• Happy Hour :

Clams $1

Oyster $1.50

Wine $7

Beer $5

Venue Profile: Located at 19 Kenmare Street in the heart of Nolita, Ken & Cook is the inspiration of Jean Georges alumnus Artan Gjoni and Chef Richard Diamonte. Chef has created a Contemporary American menu with signature dishes including Oyster Rockefeller, Monkfish, & Fried Chicken. The restaurant also features a fresh Raw Bar for diners to enjoy seasonal Clams, Oysters, Shrimp, and Lobster. Ken & Cook's industrial brasserie design includes painted original brick, pressed tin ceilings, wood paneling, vintage leather banquettes, and polished brass elements.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
