Protuct Name: Trees for Cities

Our first minimum viable product mobile app launched a couple of months ago, and it was the world's first mobile 5k. Released for the U.K. based non-profit "Trees for Cities", the app was a companion opportunity to their in-person 5k event. Upon downloading the free app, users could "virtually run" the course at London's Battersea Park from the comfort of their nearest aerobic machine. The video plays back in a dynamically responsive way, increasing and decreasing in speed depending on changes in the users exercise tempo. Meanwhile, users can read fun-facts about the charity, and -thanks to the corporate sponsor- every run triggers a one-pound donation to the non-profit!  We had over 200 downloads in the first two weeks, and had a feature in the U.K. edition of WIRED, among other press.
