How You Can Use Twitter To Create A Million Dollar Business (Like These 2 Geeks)

  • March 8, 2011 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Both Brett Tabke (founder of WebmasterWorld.com & PubCon convention) and Shawn Collins (old-school-super-affiliate & founder of Affiliate Summit) will be sharing their secrets for how they used Twitter and other social media tools for growing their businesses into multi-million dollar online empires.

Seems like everywhere you turn, someone is calling themself a Social Media "expert".

Next time you hear someone call themselves that, ask them, "Precisely how much money have you, personally, made from using social media?" (added bonus: be sure to pull out your flip cam, so you can watch 'em squirm)

Shawn Collins and Brett Tabke will share best practices, strategies and tips that you can use today to leverage your business to the top of the game.

I will add more details and good stuff about Brett & Shawn and their talk soon, but wanted to get this basic info up so you can start RSVP'ing NOW.

IMPORTANT: Brett will be inviting everyone from PubCon to this party, so we will close the meetup after we hit 420 RSVP's. (we normally get[masked] RSVP's with JUST Internet Marketing Party... When you consider PubCon will have 600 attendees, I suggest you RSVP NOW) RSVP NOW)

Great. Most of this material is over my head, and the worst part is it seems to change every week. Like 4 years ago, there were only 3 or 4 social networking sites. Today there are literally thousands. I don't feel like I have a lot of time to spend on things like Twitter, etc. And yet obviously some people are making money on them. I'm just a little guy but everyone has to start somewhere so I very much appreciate the fact that these events are open to the public. I am a Realtor, my cookie is small, but growing. Thanks for letting me participate!

i HATE the new meetup group changes. bad! so sorry you won't be here for this party. we'll miss you tons. learn a lot for us! can't wait to hear how it goes... Marcia Wieder. you go, Ricci!

    February 17, 2011

  • Ricci N.

I'm not sure I like the Meetup group changes. You can't see what I said while I was crying in my beer about missing this event. I'll be in San Francisco with Marcia Wieder getting my Dream Coach certification. This is a life-changing decision and the only thing that would keep me from being there to be with you all to experience freaking BRETT & SHAWN!!!

Let's do this - crowdsource Brett's outfit and I will handle mine. You're freaking me out a little.

better yet, why don't the internet marketing party peeps help me pick out something "really nice" for Shawn to wear?

    here are some options:
we can go classy instead of fancy:
    http://goo.gl/L8mSX
or if you want to be REALLY casual and stick with your "sports fan" look:

    or maybe something in between:

I'm looking forward to it - Brett suggested we wear suits with pocket squares. Are you cool if I don't dress as fancy as him?

HUMONGOUS, out of this world thanks in advance to Brett Tabke for sharing our Party with PubCon! Can't wait to see Abbott & Costello... errr... Brett & Shawn take the stage, spill their best kept secrets, with a drink in their hands... while making us all laugh (and money). You guys ROCK!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
