Agenda for September 4, 2010 TigerSoft User Group Meeting.

Hope you can come.

As always, we will have lots to talk about. Come early... We'll take a break at 1:15 in the cafeteria and then continue to 3:00. Expect 15- to 25 people. You should feel free to ask all the questions you want...

Here is a rough outline of the agenda, though your questions and changed market conditions will have the final say!

(1) We will want to review how close we are to a major Sell from our Peerless Stock Market Timing system that has been back-tested to 1915. We see lots of bearish looking head and shoulders patterns. September and October often bring sell-offs. The economy could do a serious dive. Below 9600 on the DJIA there is apt to be little support. But NYSE breadth (advances minus declines)
is still in a year-long uptrend as it shows a short-term pattern of declining tops and bottoms.
So what to do? Especially, after the traditional Labor Day bounce is done...
We always want to learn from market history back to 1928. We do not want to get caught in a new bear market. What are the tell-tale signs of a reversal that occur repeatedly in long advances like this. Peerless sell automatic signals have called every top since 1928.

2) Should we be troubled by charges that the Fed and the big Wall Street banks are rigging the rally? Certainly, the unfair advantages that accrue to companies like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan are troubling, especially in light of their bonus system and the taxpayer bailouts. But does this really mean the rally is so artificial that we'll soon see a big market sell-off that puts the market in synch with the 10% unemployment, etc for most of the country? Wall Street Insiders always have rigged the stock market and, except for a few year under Roosevelt and Truman, always controlled the US Treasury, the Federal Reserve and thus the President.

3) Here is a scary thought, though. Years that end in "0" since 1890 have invariably spelled trouble for the market. Must that be true in 2010? When might that occur. What will 2010 be like? The number of years with pivots-down about equal the number of pivots-up since 1915. But more often the market bides its time for the first 2 months of the new year. There is one little problem... Years that end in 0 have their own distinctive history. Bear markets usually occur for part or all of the year. So, we'll have to be on guard. 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930, 1940, 1950 (Brief 20% decline as North Korea invaded South Korea), 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000.

4) WHISTLE BLOWING, BOUNTY HUNTING FOR SEC, RAMPANT INSIDER TRADING
Insiders were doing a lot of heavy selling a few weeks ago in stocks just before they fell over a cliff. The SEC may be willing to pay a bouny for "original" proof of insider selling that leads to a conviction. My take on this is they want someone else to do their research for them. But class action law suits on behalf of wronged shareholders are becoming more numerous. Sure, the lawyers will make a lot of money. But such lawsuits are about all the shareholder has going for him or her when someone sells $30 million worth of stock right before the government files fraud charges.
Examples
1 Apollo - CEO Peter Sperling
http://www.tigersoftw...
2 DGFast Channel - CEO Scott Ginsburg (Already once fined $1 million for insider trading in 2002.
I will explain how we research these and spot their tops using Tiger's Insider Trading Tools.

5) When we look at past super "piffle" or "bubble" stocks, what are commons ways that we could then have used to recognize that they had peaked? How close are the current piffle stocks to showing the same signs? When these stocks break, a general market often starts. So, here we have another reason to examine these stocks.

6) At these meetings, we always look at the best stocks we can find in terms of insider buying and accumulation. What are the stocks now that seem reasonable to buy? For how long might we hold them? There are almost always bullish special situations to profitably buy. The Tiger-Power-Ranker gives traders the ability in seconds to find the best stocks to buy and sell short from universes of 1000s of stocks. We will demonstrate the key parameters to screen for. The second six months after the bulge of insider buying often brings bigger advances than the first six months. But what happens after a year? Remember that the market bottomed last March 9

7) Is Gold The Answer? Let's see the pros and cons of buying gold stocks given the growing deficit, weak Dollar and inverted head and shoulders pattern on GLD - the Gold ETF. Tiger's Closing Power is particularly good with stocks like NEM.

7) Foreign ETFS? Indian, Chinese and Latin American Stocks? See how we can look at them as a group and then flag their best and worst stocks. I finished a lengthy study of the Indian stock market. Our Peerless system's signals super-imposed on the exchange traded fund that invest in Indian stocks has done admirably, year after year since 1998. What's interesting is how big the gains for each of the last five years have been.

-------------------------- BACKGROUND -----------------------------
www.tigersoft.com

Thousands of users around the world depend on Peerless and TigerSoft. Some are professional money managers with superb international reputations, but many others are independent investors who want to compete on equal terms with the big boys and insiders, who trade on non-public information.

We use technical analysis to derive automatic Buys and Sells. It's quite amazing how often history nearly repeats itself if you know what to look for. Let's look under the hood of our Peerless Stock Market Timing, as it were, and see what we can learn about detecting a top to this bull market off a major bottom.

What are the technical tools we use? Price Patterns. Volume, Breadth, TigerSoft Accumulation vs Distribution, TigerSoft Opening versus Closing Power and Relative Strength. Let's make sure the rationale for these is clear.
Are there signs of tops with stocks in the DJIA? What about bank and brokerage stocks? Their weakness led to the general market's extraordinary weakness since 2007.

How do we use TigerSoft's" automatic signals most effectively? There are some big changes in the works Some new signals will be added. Have some input. Come and tell us what you would like to see done to enhance the software.

TigerSoft readily shows best trading system for any given stock and then displays its red Buys and Sells. It then displays the gains achieved had one traded the signals, buying, selling and selling short; or if someone likes, what the gains were only buying and selling. There is no guarantee that the future will work out like the past, of course, but stocks do have personalities, because each stock attracts a certain type of person, trader or investor. And so the trading patterns are likely to continue. The best trading system may continue to work for years, known only to professionals controlling the stock and TigerSoft users. )

We show how to use TigerSoft's" Closing Power and Accumulation Index to track what insiders and big mutual funds are doing with the stock or index you have selected.

Insiders know a lot more than the general public does. TigerSoft's" unique indicators show clearly whether these insiders are buying or selling and when that trend is changing. Look for big bulges of insider buying to find the best stocks and very big dips of insider selling to find the stocks that are the most vulnerable.

TigerSoft users can readily find stocks that are controlled in this fashion by noting what is the basis of the best trading system for these stocks. It lists all stocks' best trading systems and gains. When this particular system is the best system and it is highly productive, we recommend using it.

    Sept 2010 Meeting - 15 people attended.
General Market - most thought the rally would continue, but understand we are not out of the gravitational field represented by the 9600-11200 range on the DJIA. Lots more stocks look good than bad. Many more have the Tiger Closing Powers at their highs than at their lows. We talked at length about how best to use Tiger's Closing, especially to confirm Buys and Sells, show when support or resistance has been adequately tested. Do use CP and the AI Ncs.
