intheAIR gets its Hands Dirty: Intro to Data making w/Air Quality Egg

¡Únete a nosotros!

MEETUP Agenda

Welcome to the intheAIR meetup series hosted by uAbureau and COSM.

This Meetup is the fourth and final in a series of events hosted here in the IOT/BCN Meetup community over the weekend starting Friday 26th October - Sunday 28th October, exploring and investigating open communitiessensor networks and urban infrastructure centred around monitoring and communicating airborne pollutants + measuring air quality.

Special Guests from COSM and IOT/MADRID Meetup communities will also be participating, reaching out to help us ignite an on-the-ground IOT Barcelona Community.

Air Quality Egg

The Air Quality Egg is a project aiming to give citizens a way to participate in the conversation about air quality. It is composed of a sensing device that measures the air quality in the immediate environment and an on-line community that is sharing this information in real-time.

It is a community-developed, open source project that is driven by people who care about the air they breathe. Come join us in implementing Barcelona’s first open community sensor infrastructure!

Inspiring session. Thanks for organizing. I came along to meet other like-minds and to help me to start writing more regularly about how communities are using this technology, so the event definitely helped me achieve my goals (see http://citizense.com/air-quality-sensor-kick-starts-in-barcelona/). Looking forward to attending the next IoT Barcelona.
