We are a central Iowa group that includes members who are homesteaders, survivalists, preppers, and self-sufficiency seekers. We cover everything from basics to advanced and invite anyone to join, even if you're just curious.
Our vision: to network and educate ourselves and our state in all aspects of preparedness and self-sufficiency in a way that will improve the people and world around us.
We understand that prepping is a very personal subject and takes many forms. We also understand that while we are preparing, we must also try to improve the world around us, making fewer reasons to prepare. Our purpose is NOT to debate or discuss political and religious views, and we are not a group looking for people to survive the apocalypse with.
IAP's educational syllabus is based on the Americans Networking to Survive (ANTS) survival guide, which you can view here. We seek to encourage and utilize the knowledge and skills of each member.
