Note: We're meeting on Sunday afternoon instead of the regular second Monday of the month.
We're meeting up at the Columbus Italian Festival. There's no specific agenda other than to enjoy the good food, music, and entertainment -- and to support the Festival and Italian culture in Columbus.
The plan is to grab a table or two (or three) in the main tent housing the Carfagna Traditional Stage. It's catty-corner from the church. Check the RSVPs on the Meetup website, so you know who to look for at the Festival. And if you're the first to arrive (Festival doors open at noon that day), feel free to commandeer some seats for the group.
The Festival is held on the grounds of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Italian Village (north of downtown) at Hamlet and Fourth. Admission is $5. For a schedule of events, parking, and other information, visit www.columbusitalianfestival.com or check out their Facebook page.
Use the Experience Columbus Days flyer for a discount on single-day, adult admission: www.experiencecolumbusdays.com/index.cfm
There's also a deal on Groupon to get two tickets for $5: www.groupon.com/deals/columbus-italian-festival-1
