This group is suggested for those who have studied at least the basics of Italian language/grammar (past, present, future tenses, etc).  We have various lessons, but lately most involve reading and translating articles or pages from a book, sometimes conversation or games.  We don't have a teacher - we just try to help each other figure things out if we get stuck.

Send a message to Tanya (at least 1 day prior to the meetup) for details if you're joining us for the first time, so that I can send you the homework for the week as well as instructions on exactly where to find us.

If we don't get at least 3 RSVPs by noon on the day of the meetup, or if the weather is bad, we will likely cancel.  Please check the meetup site (or your email if you are on our mailing list) before leaving to make sure we are still on.

Where to find us:  We're in the basement party room of the condominium building listed above.  Park on the street either along Headwood or a nearby street.  Enter the building from either the north end through the garage, or the south end behind the pool area.  Head downstairs and the room is on the right.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
