Italian conversation

Anyone interested in an informal Italian conversation meetup - then let's meet at Panera's for a little chat. It doesn't matter what level you are at. If you've taken one of my previous classes just come with the workbook. The book is Italian Made Simple: Revised and Updated by Cristina Mazzoni. Or you can come with any other books or materials you may have. If this goes well, we will do this more often.

We had a great little group last time that wants to continue!

Grazie

Great. Larry made a great effort to make sure everyone was comfortable. Learned some new vocabulary! The group was very friendly as well.

Hi everyone, I may run a tad late, but will get there as soon as I can.

Larry is a fantastic host and guide. We had a GREAT vibe last time. Everyone was non-judgemental, patient and supportive of any kind of effort. IMHO, I think that by using Larry's suggestion of the book as a basis, each of us will have the same reference material to draw from which will hopefully make especially the beginners more comfortable. We really did start with the basics so on that note we are all beginners, except Larry :)

Forgive me but what is "IASOSP", and where is the picnic?
    Thanks!

IASOSP = Italian-American Society of St. Petersburg. Yes, we are having a picnic in War Veterans’ Memorial Park in St.Pete the same day as Larry’s conversation Meetup. It was a comment to Larry, and I should not have posted it! Have fun with your conversation. I might come some day.

We are having IASOSP's annual picnic that day. You should bring your conversation group to that! LOL

We have all levels in this class so even if you aren't speaking that much Italian I would encourage anyone to stop by. It is very informal and I've been translating everything that has been said so everyone can follow along. I'll let you all know when I do a formal class. Grazie!

Hi, Larry - my knowledge of Italian is extremely limited. I am not able to form a conversation except for a few words. I would prefer to wait for the next formal classroom offering. I have purchased the "Italian Made Simple" textbook. Looking forward!!
    Ciao....

I don't speak any Italian, just know the curse words my mother and father used to say to me! But, I want to learn. I just read Larry s announcement about classes he gives and a work book he suggested. Can I get some info about his classes. I would be interested in that.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
