Visited Florence and Venice in 1984 and was fascinated with the amazing art throughout. Had a difficult time leaving. Since I speak Spanish (Cuban origin) I found it easier to get by with my limited Italian learned in Cuba.
I usually dine at Antonio's on 56th. Also Carraba's.
I would like to learn the Italian language in a classroom setting. Growing up in Cuba in the early 60's there was a great deal of exposure to the Italian culture, particularly films which is how I became familiar with the language.
Great group, however the meets take place in either Pinellas county or downtown Tampa area. I don't mind Tampa because I live in New Tampa but driving to Pinellas is a bit far. I truly enjoyed my first class at Panera's. Thanks, Larry!!!
