Am interested in keeping language and in learning about "modern" Italians. Many immigrants of the 40's and 50's are stuck in a time warp. It was a revelation to see present day Italians of my generation that are as modern as "Canadians". I have had some contact with native Italians and I quite like them. I enjoy Italian films but have found it difficult to find those films on a regular basis. Just interested in connecting or reconnecting.
I was born in Italy and grew up in a typical immigrant family of the 50's. Dialect was spoken in the home. I am a professional and I actively sought clients in the Italian community. I have traveled in Italy a bit and am interested in more travel there. Naturally, I like the food and the wines.
I am a Canadian but born in Italy, so in effect first generation but I was so young that I am really second generation.
